Farmers have proudly used the services of A&G Machinery Pty Ltd since 1963, better known in it infancy as Ag & General or today "A&G". When the company, now known as A&G Machinery Pty Ltd, was established it traded primarily in agricultural machinery and general engineering!
The company grew and prospered until in 1986, the machinery division seceded from the engineering division, who have now become one of the leading stainless steel engineering companies and fabricators of vessels up 1.1 million litres in the winery and 3 million litres in the ethanol industries in Australia.

Ron Potter and Lionel Irving, two of the inaugural directors were joined by Jim Rolfe in 1993, and together are leading A&G Machinery into the future.
In 2002 Tony Glennon (Service) and Ian Robertson (Sales) were added, to sure up the succession of quality service to the agricultural districts and products A&G Machinery support.A&G Machinery has a modern purpose built premises at 98 Oakes Road Griffith and a branch at 63 Canada St, Lake Cargelligo, which provides the Lake Cargelligo community with quality parts and service. Today A&G Machinery Pty Ltd employs over twenty five staff members, many of whom are long serving professionals. Broadacre, rowcrop, cotton, rice, viticulture, horticulture and vegetable farmers needs are equally looked after at A&G Machinery Pty Ltd through the expertise and skill of the sales, service and parts departments.
In 2001 A&G Machinery Pty Ltd in partnership with Hutcheon and Pearce a John Deere dealer throughout the central and southern parts of NSW whose headquarters are in Wagga Wagga, purchased Riverina Machinery, Narrandera and Coleambally.

In 2007 the same partnership purchased Armstrong Finley Sales and Service from the Armstrong family and their partners after 50 years of trading in the Finley community.
Today Finley, Narrandera and Coleambally trade under the combined banner of Hutcheon A&G Pty Ltd under the watchful eye of Bill Armstrong and a Management Group from the partnership.
